How to cook with a photo step by step

First, we make the filling of eggs and hard cheese for stuffed tomatoes. For her, we need fresh chicken eggs, which we boil in salted water for 4 minutes after boiling. After that, they need to cool in cold water so that the shell easily separates from the egg. We clean the cooled eggs.

Egg yolk is used in this recipe in two ways - as part of the filling for tomatoes, and as a decor. We separate it from the boiled egg, and rub it on a fine grater in a separate saucer.

For stuffing stuffed tomatoes, salted or semi-salted cheese is best suited. In the event that you have unleavened or sweetish cheese, you will have to add salt to the filling, and its taste will not be so pronounced. The ideal option is to use salted cheese with spices and spices, for example, "Hunter". Cheese must be grated on a fine grater.

To make the filling tender, but at the same time piquant, you need to add a few cloves of garlic to it. They must be peeled, and chopped, passed through a press, or finely chopped with a sharp knife. Now, in a deep plate, we collect together all the components of the filling for the tomato - grated eggs and cheese, garlic, add high-fat mayonnaise (67% or 72%, if necessary, salt. Mix until the cheese and egg mass is completely homogeneous.

Now let's prepare our tomato "cups". We take a tomato and cut off the top with a sharp knife so that it is convenient to remove the seeds.

Next, you need to get all the seeds and veins from the tomato, it is very convenient to do this with a teaspoon. Now the tomatoes are completely ready to be filled with delicious egg and cheese spicy paste.

We put the filling in each tomato, carefully tamping it so that there are no voids in the tomato. Fill to the very top.

After doing the painstaking, but such a pleasant job of stuffing tomatoes, we proceed to the next step - this is decor. Sprinkle grated yolk on top of each tomato.

Finely chop fresh herbs (parsley, dill, onion), pour on top of the tomatoes. We shift the tomatoes stuffed with egg and cheese to a flat dish, and serve.
Enjoy your meal!

When you come to visit someone at a feast full of various dishes, the variety of dishes first makes them dizzy, and then everyone looks at each dish and chooses what they would like to try first. And, as a rule, dishes originally served to the table are of particular interest, even if they are far from the main ones. I suggest you cook a couple of options for such “highlights” of the feast today with me - these are stuffed tomatoes.

Ingredients and preparation

Kitchen appliances: blender or mixer.

Ingredients

How to choose the right ingredients

For this snack, round fleshy tomatoes are suitable, you can also use the "cream" variety. Cherry tomatoes go very well with spicy stuffing - great option for snacks for strong drinks.

Processed cheese is more appropriate for a cold snack, as it will have a more delicate texture in combination with mayonnaise and other ingredients than grated hard cheese. But if you still decide to use ordinary hard cheese, I think this will not be considered a big crime. Use greens to taste - parsley, dill, cilantro or a mixture thereof.

Stuffed Tomato Cold Appetizer Recipe

  1. Prepare the filling: peel the garlic from the husk, squeeze it into a plate with a garlic press or use a fine grater. Rinse and chop the herbs to taste, add to the garlic.

  2. Then grate the cheese into this plate. Mix everything thoroughly, add mayonnaise and mix again.

Did you know? To prepare the filling, you can use a mixer or blender, after mixing the washed and chopped ingredients with mayonnaise in a bowl of a kitchen appliance. But I prefer to do everything in this recipe by hand, as cooking takes very little time.

  3. Now set aside the filling and take care of the tomatoes. Rinse them, carefully cut off the tops, and clean the pulp with a teaspoon.

  4. Now stuff the resulting "pacifiers" of tomatoes, decorate each with a sprig of greens or half an olive and serve!

In order for stuffed tomatoes in the oven to look impressive and not inferior in taste to other dishes on the festive table, you need to remember five culinary secrets.

  1. Fruit. Choose tomatoes that are roughly the same size. They should be ripe, without visible damage and with dense pulp.
  2. Pulp. Remove the core of the fruit with a teaspoon or knife very carefully so as not to damage it.
  3. "Hats". Don't throw away the cut tops. Reviews on the forums suggest that they can be frozen and added to omelettes, pizzas, soups and sauces in winter.
  4. Juice. Excess liquid should drain from the "cup". To do this, turn it upside down and leave for five minutes.
  5. The form. To prevent the tomatoes from spreading in the oven, pierce them in several places with a toothpick.

Tomato "baskets" will not turn over during baking if you make a small cut on each from the outside from the bottom.

Reviews: "I do with cookies"

This dish is more like an amateur. Personally, I don't like baked tomatoes. but in my family everyone is delighted with this dish, and the taste and ease of preparation. Preparing tomatoes is very simple: tomatoes are cut in half, the pulp is taken out. An egg is poured into each half of the tomato, sprinkled with chopped cheese and breadcrumbs. Tomatoes are laid out on a greased baking sheet, a slice is placed on top of each tomato butter and it's all baked in the oven.

A simple and very tasty snack - stuffed tomatoes. You can stuff them with whatever you like - directly minced meat with onion and herbs, rice, lettuce, and if the tomatoes are small, it is very tasty to stuff them with cheese and mayonnaise stuffing with garlic. This is a good decoration for any table and a quick dish to prepare.

Girls, the recipe is good, but I make it with minced stew or with liver (beef or chicken) already cooked and stuff the tomatoes and cover with sour cream or garlic mayonnaise on top, but I don’t bake the tomatoes. They are fresh, dense and can be beautifully covered with a cut top, and with greens it turns out like a basket.

Great snack for holiday table, which is popular at any time of the year, but you can often see such an appetizer in the summer, when tomatoes are tasty, juicy and inexpensive. For fresh tomatoes, you can pick up the most different fillings: mushrooms, vegetables, cereals, meat and legumes. You can also serve stuffed tomatoes fresh or bake them in the oven or microwave. To make the dish look more aesthetically pleasing and appetizing on the table, choose tomatoes of the same size, round shape, without spots or any other damage to the skin.

Ingredients

  • 4-5 tomatoes
  • 4 chicken eggs
  • 100 g hard cheese
  • 3 cloves of garlic
  • 2-3 tbsp. l. mayonnaise
  • 1/3 tsp ground black pepper
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • greens before serving

Cooking

1. First, let's prepare the filling for tomatoes. Hard-boil chicken eggs in salted water, then cool and remove the shell. Grate the eggs on a fine grater - so the filling will turn out to be more tender, you can even say pasty.

2. hard cheese grate also on a fine grater. The type of cheese does not really matter, you can take fresh or salty cheese. Choose sweetish only if you are a fan of it.

3. In a bowl with grated filling, add mayonnaise of any fat content (it can be replaced with sour cream), also add black pepper and salt, mix everything.

4. Take medium-sized tomatoes and remove the place where the stalk was attached, then carefully cut out the core with a spoon or knife, remove the seeds.
