Quick and tasty casserole of cottage cheese and pita bread. A bit like pancakes with cottage cheese or pancakes, but requires much less effort.

Products for casseroles:

  • 1 lavash
  • 2 packs of cottage cheese 200 gr each (total 400 gr cottage cheese)
  • 2 eggs (if the eggs are large, or the cottage cheese is watery, then 1 egg is enough)
  • 100 gr sugar
  • 1 pinch of vanilla
  • Butter for greasing the pan

In general, it is better to add sugar and vanilla, focusing on your preferences, because someone likes it sweeter, but someone does not.

1 Making the stuffing

Mix cottage cheese with sugar, vanilla and eggs. Add 1 egg first, mix and look at the consistency of the filling. If it turned out to be watery, then the second egg is no longer needed.

2 Put the stuffing on the pita bread

We unfold the pita bread and put half of the filling on the half of the pita bread. So that the filling does not flow out, I advise you to tuck the edges.

3 Fold the pita bread

Fold the pita bread in half. If it seems to you that there is not enough filling around the edges, then slightly open the edges and add a couple of tablespoons of cottage cheese there.

4 Add the rest of the filling

Again, spread the filling on pita bread. This time you can spread it all over the pita bread, at least it’s more convenient for me.

5 Folding pita bread

Fold the pita bread in half again.

6 Cut pita bread

I usually cut the resulting blank in half. I put one part in a frying pan, and wrap the other in the paper on which I made the casserole, and put it in the refrigerator. Then, at any time, you can get it and bake it. Do not press too hard on the knife so that all the cottage cheese does not flow out of the pita bread.

7 Fry pita bread

We heat the pan, grease it with butter, put the casserole and cover with a lid.

Fry over medium heat, covered. You don’t need to fry pita bread too much, just hold it for 5 minutes on each side. If the filling leaked out a little during cutting, then when frying, the sugar from the filling may burn a little. This is not critical, and can always be removed after frying.

8 Waiting 10 minutes

After frying the casserole, remove the pan from the heat and wait another 10 minutes without removing the lid. This is necessary so that the fried pita soaks and becomes soft. But if you prefer crispy dough, skip this step.

You can also add a whole segment of celery, carrots and onions. The end result is an excellent broth. Boil chicken meat until tender - about an hour. Allow the breast to cool directly in the broth, this will ensure that the meat will turn out juicy and not dry. After separating the breast from the bones, cut the clean fillet arbitrarily.

Take out the blender bowl, install the “metal knife” nozzle, unload the chicken meat in portions. Grind poultry meat into a fine-grained mass for 20 seconds. It turns out a kind of minced meat from boiled meat, transfer it to a separate bowl.

Vegetables - carrots, bell peppers and onions, peeled, rinsed. After grating the carrots with medium shavings, cut the pepper into cubes, do the same with the onions. Heat a skillet with corn oil over medium heat. Saute vegetable platter for several minutes, but just sauté, do not fry vegetables and do not stew.

Combine minced chicken, mixed vegetables in one container, add a little salt / pepper mixture. Mix, take a sample for salt.

  • 200 grams of flour
  • 100 grams of mayonnaise

Let's start with the simplest, namely, with the preparation of the filling. To do this, you just need to take a deep dish, put all the necessary ingredients there and mix them thoroughly until a homogeneous consistency is obtained. That's all! Our filling is ready.

Now let's start cooking the pita rolls directly. It is necessary to chop the onion and add it to the minced meat. Also, do not forget about adding salt and other spices to taste. Mix the minced meat thoroughly, and then fry in a pan.

  • chicken eggs - 3 pcs;
  • wheat flour - 1.5 cups;
  • water - 0.3 cups;
  • salt - to taste;

  • granulated sugar - 4 tbsp. l;
  • semolina - 2 tbsp. l;
  • cherry - 300 gr;
  • cane sugar - 50 gr;
  • vanilla sugar - sachet

The water for the dough should be warm, then the dough rolls out easier. It is better to get rid of chicken protein, and use only the yolk. This time I decided to experiment, it would be better not to do this. the dough turned out much worse than on one yolk.

Combine the yolk with salt, a spoonful of refined vegetable oil, stir. Add water and add flour.

We knead the dough. It should be firm but soft and not sticky. Cover, leave for 30 minutes in a cold place.

During this time, prepare the filling and filling.

For the curd filling, I used ready-made, pasty cottage cheese. I just have to add two tablespoons of sugar and semolina to the curd mass, for flavor - half a packet of vanilla sugar and stir. If the cottage cheese is grainy, it must be ground and an additional 2 eggs added.
