We have been going to buy baking pots for a long time, the cooked food looks very appetizing in them. And so, the pots are bought, but what exactly to cook in them? On the advice of her sister, the first dish in the pots was a Georgian dish - bean lobio.
The traditional recipe is very different from our improvisation, since we added chicken meat and did not have the variety of greens needed for lobio on hand.
However, the dish in pots still turned out tasty and very satisfying.

To prepare lobio from beans and chicken, we need:
- red beans (soaked overnight in water),
- chicken breast,
- onion,
- carrot,
- red bell pepper,
- tomato paste,
- herbs and spices to your taste,
- heavy cream (optional)
- a little olive oil for frying.

First, cut or three small strips of carrots and cut onions. Fry them in a frying pan with a drop of oil until half cooked.




Sweet pepper cut into small pieces.




We clean the chicken breasts from the films and cut them into medium-sized cubes.




Preparing the dressing sauce. tomato paste dilute with water to a more liquid state. Salt, pepper and add all the appropriate herbs and spices.





Now you can start forming layers in pots. We spread the onion and carrot zazhaoku on the bottom of each pot. Put a layer of beans on it. It was previously soaked in water overnight, which will significantly reduce the cooking time.




Spread the chopped bell pepper over the beans.

The last layer is again roasted from onions and carrots. Pour the pots tomato sauce. There should not be too much sauce, about a third should be filled, since the rest of the products will also release juice during the cooking process.





The final touch is a teaspoon of cream in each pot. This will add fat, but it will not affect the taste significantly, so if you are worried about the calorie content of the dish, then you can skip this ingredient with a clear conscience.



We send our pots to the oven for about an hour at 200 degrees. I determined the readiness by sampling the beans, it is precisely its softness that you need to wait for, everything else will be ready in half an hour.



When the beans are soft, it's time to remove the pots. Let them cool slightly and serve. You can eat directly from the pot, or you can put fragrant lobio on a plate.
The taste turned out amazing. We can say that the first experiment with pots was a success.
But you can cook not only in pots. So if you do not have them - this is not a reason to be upset.

  4. when the tomatoes soften, put sage, red pepper, salt, ketchup and sugar into the bowl;
  5. all this is mixed, it's time to put the main ingredient - beans in a cup;
  6. hot water is added, its amount slightly exceeds the level of the total mass;
  7. cooking lobio for an hour in the "Extinguishing" mode.

How to cook lobio with chicken in a slow cooker

Rinse the beans, soak for two hours. Drain the water afterwards.
Set the program "Beans" in the multicooker. Pour the beans into the bowl.

Pour in cold water.

Cook with the lid closed for 1 hour. Do not add salt, otherwise it will increase the cooking time of the beans.

Turn off the multicooker. Using oven mitts, remove the bowl, put the contents in a colander. You won't need the decoction, so pour it out. Leave the beans in a colander to cool.

Wash the bowl, wipe it, pour in the oil.
Turn on the appliance by setting the "Baking" mode. Dip the chicken fillet cut into cubes into the heated oil.

When the meat turns white, put the finely chopped onion. Cook 2-4 minutes.

Add carrot cubes.

Stirring, fry for 5 minutes.
Cut the tomatoes into circles, remove the seeds, drain the juice. Cut the pulp into small pieces. Add to the rest of the ingredients.
