Recipe

  1. Place cottage cheese in a deep bowl. If the cottage cheese is small, then leave it like that. And if the cottage cheese is large, then chop it with a blender or just rub it with a pusher.
  2. Add sugar - sand to a cup with cottage cheese, beat in an egg, stir curd mass until smooth and leave for 5 minutes.
  3. Sift flour into the curd mass, previously mixed with baking powder and salt. Mix with a spoon or just with your hands until the dough is homogeneous, which then put on a cutting board, powdered with flour and knead to the end. The dough is not too steep, slightly sticky.
  4. Divide the prepared dough into 12 parts, each part is about 80 grams. From each part, first roll up a bun, which then slightly flatten into a cake.
  5. Put the formed curd donuts on a baking sheet covered with baking parchment.
  6. Bake curd donuts in an oven preheated to 180 degrees for about 30 minutes, until browned.
  7. Remove the baked donuts from the oven and cool on a wire rack.
  8. Sprinkle the cooled cottage cheese and flour donuts generously with powdered sugar.

Presumably, donuts got their name from the French word "pompom", which translates as a ball. I would like to note that donuts appeared in Ukraine not so long ago, around the second half of the nineteenth century. Today, there are many different recipes for donuts, but one thing they have in common is an unforgettable taste.

Pampushki with garlic

They are perfect for borscht.

For their preparation, you will need the following ingredients: flour (1 kg),

  • margarine (100 gr.)
  • yeast (40 gr.)
  • milk (300 ml)
  • water (200 ml)
  • eggs (2 pcs.)
  • salt (1 tsp)
  • sugar (1 tbsp.)
  • garlic

Cooking donuts with garlic is as follows. First you need to sift the flour through a sieve. Then, using a whisk, beat the eggs with salt and sugar. Next, you need to grind the yeast with one tablespoon of sugar and add to the eggs. Then add water and milk. To stir thoroughly.

Pour the resulting mixture into the flour and add the pre-melted margarine. Knead a stiff dough and leave to rise about three times, kneading each time. The finished dough must be divided into balls and left for ten minutes to infuse.

Add to the pan vegetable oil and put the balls into it, while each, dipping in vegetable oil on the sides, so that they do not stick together.

Next, you need to put the donuts in the oven preheated to one hundred and eighty degrees and bake for fifteen minutes. Ready donuts should be greased with garlic, previously squeezed through the garlic and diluted with two tablespoons of vegetable oil and a small amount salt.

To prepare this type of donuts, you will need the following products:

  • kefir (250 ml.)
  • corn flour(175 gr.)
  • wheat flour (100 gr.)
  • canned corn(100 gr.)
  • butter (50 gr.)
  • Bell pepper(1 PC.)
  • chicken egg (1 pc.)
  • parsley (3 sprigs)
  • baking powder (2 tsp)
  • and salt (0.5 tsp)

These dumplings are prepared in this way. First you need to preheat the oven to two hundred degrees and put paper molds in the recesses of a special baking sheet. Next under cold water you need to wash the parsley, dry it and finely chop the leaves. Peppers need to be cleaned of seeds and partitions and cut into strips first, then into small cubes.

In a separate bowl, you need to break the egg and using a whisk, beat with pieces of butter until a steep foam forms. Then, stirring constantly, pour in the kefir.

Next, add flour with baking powder, salt, sweet pepper, parsley, corn to the egg and knead the dough. With the help of a teaspoon, it is necessary to fill the paper molds 2/3, put them on a baking sheet, which then needs to be put in the oven. Pampushki are baked for about twenty minutes.

Mushroom donuts

For their preparation, you will need the following components:

  • flour (500 gr.)
  • boiled mushrooms(200 gr.)
  • ham (200 gr.)
  • vegetable oil (70 gr.)
  • butter (50 gr.)
  • chicken egg(1 PC.)
  • sugar (1 tsp)
  • salt (0.5 tsp)

The preparation of this type of donuts begins mixing flour with sugar salt, yeast. After that, two hundred and fifty milliliters of water and pre-melted butter. Next, knead the stiff dough.

At the next stage of cooking donuts with mushrooms, you need to cook minced meat. To do this, pass the pre-cooked mushrooms together with the ham through a meat grinder. From ready dough make a few balls and leave for half an hour to infuse.

After each ball must be rolled out in such a way that a cake is obtained and put the minced meat in the middle. The edges of the dough should be lifted up and smeared with a mass of eggs. Then pinch the edges. The resulting donuts must be laid out on a baking sheet and baked in the oven for forty minutes.


Curd donuts

To prepare cottage cheese donuts you will need:

  • cottage cheese (250 ml.)
  • sugar (100 gr.)
  • egg (2 pcs.)
  • soda (0.5 tsp)
  • salt and flour

These pampushkas are prepared easily and simply. You must first knead the dough from the above ingredients. Further ready dough you need to roll out a thin layer and use a glass to cut it into circles. The resulting circles should be left for forty minutes to infuse. Then fry them in a frying pan in vegetable oil.


Potato donuts

For their preparation, you will need the following products: potatoes (12 pcs.)

  • sour cream
  • salt

Ingredients

250 g cottage cheese, 250 g flour, 2 eggs, 100–150 g sugar, 50 g yeast, 200–300 ml milk, 50 g butter or margarine, 200–250 g sour cream, 200 g strawberries.

Cooking method

Mix flour with yeast. Mash cottage cheese with sugar and eggs until a homogeneous mass is obtained, pour milk and pour the resulting mixture into flour. Knead a stiff dough and put it in a warm place to ferment.

Punch down the risen dough and leave to ferment for another 25-30 minutes.

Roll up a few balls from the prepared dough and put them on a baking sheet well greased with butter or margarine, leave to proof for 15-20 minutes, and then put the baking sheet with donuts in the oven for 20-25 minutes.

Serve finished products to the table with sauce. To prepare the sauce, add sugar to sour cream, mix well and pour fresh strawberries with sweet sour cream. Believe me, you have never tasted such a delicacy.
