Yummy chicken: chicken cutlets with steamed cheese in a slow cooker

Ingredients:

  • chicken fillet (or ready minced meat) - 600-700 gr.
  • hard cheese - 150 gr.
  • chicken egg - 1 pc.
  • onion - 1 pc.
  • white bun or loaf - 100 gr.
  • milk - 100 ml
  • salt with spices to taste

Chicken, and especially the breast, is a real dietary product - this meat is practically without excess fat, light and tasty, if, of course, it is cooked correctly, since the breast itself is rather dry. Boiled or fried breast is often found in various salads, but now I want to tell you, dear visitors of the culinary site site, about a dish that, having a wonderful taste, is also very healthy, suitable for athletes and those who, for some reason, adhere to certain diets . So, the yummy that will be discussed is steamed chicken cutlets in a slow cooker. Having prepared them, you are convinced once again that healthy food can be not only healthy, but also very tasty, because the cutlets are very juicy and soft, in particular, thanks to the addition of an ingredient loved by many - cheese! This dish is sure to please you and your kids.

Cooking method


  1. The necessary products are on the table, the multicooker is ready to go, which means it's time to start.

  2. I cook minced meat for chicken cutlets with cheese in a slow cooker in the same way as for ordinary ones. To begin with, I fill the white bun with milk, and I myself will take care of the minced meat.

  3. Today, a modern person has so many helpers in the kitchen that it is not difficult to make minced meat yourself. Pre-washed and dried chicken meat (I prefer breast), and with it onions, cut into small slices.

  4. Fillet, onion and soaked bread (I squeeze it a little beforehand to get rid of excess milk) I pass it through a meat grinder. To this mass I add an egg, salt and spices. I mix thoroughly.

  5. There is one more important ingredient left - cheese, you can simply add it to the minced meat, grate it or cut it into small pieces, or you can put it inside each blank. I decided to cook two types of cutlets: with cheese inside for my daughter (she really likes melted cheese) and with the addition of cheese to minced meat for my husband and I. To do this, I rub half of the cheese on a fine grater, and cut some into small pieces.

  6. I divide the mass for cutlets into two parts, pour grated cheese into one of them and mix.

  7. With wet hands I form cutlets from the minced meat and immediately put it into a bowl for steaming. For cutlets with cheese inside, I pinch off a part of the minced meat, give it the shape of a cake, put a piece of cheese, and then pinch it to make a cutlet. I pour a sufficient amount of water into the multicooker saucepan (preferably hot, so faster) and place a bowl of cutlets on top.

  8. I set the program to “cook for a couple”. To cook steamed chicken cutlets in a slow cooker, 20-25 minutes are enough, starting from the moment when the signal sounds. I take the finished cutlets out of the tray and send the next portion, be sure to check the presence of water in the slow cooker. By the way, from this set of products I got 12 cutlets.
