This recipe will show you how to cook delicious chicken drumsticks in sour cream with a crust.

In the menu for every day, I try to minimize fat in food, and cook meals as simply as possible. This saves not only time, but also teaches home to simple and proper food. These same drumsticks were being prepared for our little family holiday. Although, several times I baked chicken like this in a slow cooker just like that, for no reason to please my family.

The recipe can be adapted to any multi-pot model by adjusting the cooking time depending on the volume of the bowl and the power of the device.

Ingredients:

  • 8 instant chicken drumsticks,
  • 200 ml of sour cream with a fat content of 15-20%,
  • half a teaspoon of salt
  • spices for chicken
  • ground nutmeg,
  • 2 tablespoons refined vegetable oil
  • 2-5 garlic cloves (to taste)

Cooking process:

First of all, the chicken parts need to be washed, dried and examined for feathers that are not completely removed. After that, remove excess fat, if any.

Let's prepare the marinade.

Choose a spice mix for chicken that does not contain salt - it's easier not to oversalt the dish. Pour spices and salt into sour cream. Peel and mince the garlic and add to the sour cream sauce. It is better to skip the garlic through a press or grate it on a fine grater - so the marinade will be more saturated in taste. Add ground nutmeg to the tip of a knife - it will complement the taste of chicken meat well.


Pour the prepared drumsticks with the marinade, mix. Transfer them to a deep bowl, tighten with cling film and leave in the refrigerator to marinate.

For a good marinade, the process should continue all night, but when there is no time at all, we leave the meat at room temperature, and at the same time we often mix the meat with the marinade to speed up the process of absorbing the spices.


Pour vegetable oil into the bottom of the bowl, turn on the "baking" mode. Set the time to 50 minutes. Put the drumsticks in the slow cooker. Pour the sauce into a bowl as well.


After 25 minutes, use a silicone spatula to turn the drumsticks over to the other side - so the crust will appear on both sides.



Wait for the multicooker signal and serve delicious, fragrant chicken legs with sour cream and garlic sauce. It is very convenient from above, in a bowl for a double boiler, to cook potatoes, cut into slices. Just peel the potatoes, wash them, and put them in a bowl. Usually the potatoes are ready at the same time as the meat.

For a change, you can add a little any seasonal vegetables to the meat. In winter, these are onions and carrots, and in summer - zucchini, eggplant and bell peppers.
