If you want the soup with oatmeal to be even lighter, then boil the meat broth on a low-fat chicken fillet, and also reduce the amount of potatoes, or even do without it. Indeed, in the latter case, oatmeal you will need to increase so that the finished dish is not completely watery.

Description of the cooking process:

Pour oatmeal with a small amount of warm broth so that it completely covers them. Set the container aside for 30 minutes.

Bring the remaining broth to a boil, and as soon as this happens, add the previously peeled and sliced ​​​​potatoes into it. Cook for about 20 minutes (until the potatoes are half cooked).

While the potatoes are cooking, prepare the frying for the soup - cut the onions and carrots into small cubes and sauté in vegetable oil.

Lay the frying in a boiling soup, and after it add the meat cut into pieces.

Boil everything together for another 5-7 minutes, then pour the soaked oatmeal into the boiling soup, add salt and finely chopped greens. Let it simmer for 2-3 minutes and, turning off the heat, leave the soup to infuse under a closed lid.

Cooking

2. Peel a large onion and a medium carrot. Rinse vegetables and pat dry with paper towels to remove excess moisture. Grate the carrots on a large grater, cut the onion into cubes. Place vegetables in hot oil. Stirring with a spatula, fry over moderate heat for 8-10 minutes.

3. As soon as the potato pieces become a little soft, add the sautéed vegetables to the pan. Stir and let boil.

4. Pour in oatmeal, which is cooked for no more than 10 minutes. Stir. Cook for 8-10 minutes over low heat until potatoes and all other ingredients are cooked.

5. When all the vegetables in the pan are cooked, it's time to season with spices. Add bay leaf, ground pepper, salt. Stir and let simmer for 3-4 minutes.
