Turkey cutlets with zucchini and kefir

Ingredients

  • Minced turkey (or fillet) - 400 g;
  • Chicken egg - 2 pieces;
  • Onion - 1 piece;
  • Kefir - 1/2 cup;
  • Carrots - 1 piece;
  • Zucchini - 1 piece (about 600 g);
  • Flour - 0.5 cups;
  • Salt, spices;
  • Vegetable oil.

Turkey meat cutlets with zucchini is a tender and tasty dish that will appeal to the most ardent opponents of vegetables. It's just not worth reporting that there is something other than minced meat in the composition - and no one will even guess! Turkey cutlets with zucchini (a recipe with a photo is presented step by step below) are a bit like pancakes in shape, since the minced meat is deliberately made liquid. But this resemblance is deceptive! They taste very meaty, juicy and fragrant.

How to cook turkey cutlets with zucchini

The first step is to make minced meat by passing the bird through a meat grinder with a medium or fine grate. All other ingredients also require a little preparation: we clean and wash the vegetables, sift the flour, take the kefir out of the refrigerator to warm it up a little.

We cut the peeled zucchini and take out the pulp. If it is very young, then this stage can be skipped - the seeds in it are immature, and therefore are well crushed.

Now we rub the vegetable on a grater or chop in a food processor using a blender. The resulting mass is slightly salted and put in a colander to drain excess juice. If this is not done, then minced turkey cutlets with zucchini will not work: they will spread over the pan.

Add grated carrots, chopped onions, minced meat, salt, spices to taste and eggs to the squash mass. Do not forget that we have already salted a little in paragraph number 3.

Pour kefir into the same bowl, add flour and mix everything thoroughly until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

Turkey cutlets with zucchini - a recipe in a pan. Therefore, we heat the vegetable oil and spread the minced meat with a spoon, giving it even contours if possible.

Fry on one side for 5-7 minutes and turn over. We cook the second barrel for the same amount of time. If you want to reduce the calorie content of the dish, you can bake it in the oven at 180 ° C for about 25 minutes - then you will get diet turkey cutlets with zucchini.

We serve ready-made cutlets without a side dish, as it contains 50% vegetables. You can pour sour cream, decorate with herbs and add fresh cucumbers and tomatoes.
